Itinerary

Day 01: Airport in Amman, Amman

Our English-speaking representative will greet you at the terminal door when you arrive at Queen Alia International Airport. He will walk you through baggage collection, customs, and immigration. After that, you will meet your English-speaking driver and travel for about 35 to 40 minutes to reach your accommodation in Amman. Spend the night in Amman

Day 02: Tour of Amman, Amman City, Jerash, and Amman

Take a tour of Amman’s city after breakfast. You will go to the Citadel, which is perched atop one of Amman’s tallest hills. It contains numerous buildings, including the Byzantine Church, the Umayyad Palace, and the Temple of Hercules. The 6,000-seat Roman Theatre, a deep-sided bowl carved into the slope at the base of the Citadel, continues to host cultural events. After that, take a 50-minute journey to Jerash, a city in northern Jordan. One of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, Gerasa (Jerash) was one of the ten Decapolis cities in the ancient Roman Empire. After that, head back to your Amman hotel and spend the night there.

Day 03: MT. Nebo, Bethany (Baptism Site), AMMAN, MADABA, and PETRA

After breakfast, transfer to Madaba “the City of Mosaics.” (approx. 55 min drive). The city, best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, is home to the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Then, head to historic Mount Nebo (approx. 15 min drive), one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan and the place where Moses was buried. A small Byzantine church was built there by early Christians. After that visit of one of the most important archaeological discoveries in modern Jordan — the settlement and region of Bethany (or Beth Abra), where Jesus was baptized, it has long been known from the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) and the Byzantine and medieval texts. (approx. 35 min drive). Proceed to your hotel in Petra. (approx. 3 hr 30 min drive). Overnight in Petra.

Day 04: The Petra

Following breakfast, spend the entire day touring “Petra,” the Rose Red City, one of the Seven Wonders of the World that many people have always wanted to see. The Nabataeans, a hardworking Arab population who settled here more than 2000 years ago, carved this enormous, distinctive city into the sheer rock face, making it a crucial hub for the silk, spice, and other trade routes that connected China, India, and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece, and Rome. You will enter the city by walking via the Siq, which is its only entrance. See Qaser Al Bint, the Church, the Roman Theater, the Treasury, the Court, and the Royal Tombs. Go back to your Petra hotel and spend the night there.

*Optional activities in Petra

The Petra By Night tour Discover the enchantment of Petra, the city of red roses, at night! You will hear Bedouin music and storytelling in front of the Treasury as you go through the enigmatic Siq, a tiny canyon lit only by candles and the stars. This evening’s unique ambiance transports you back to Nabataean times. This two-hour tour is scheduled for three nights a week, starting at 20:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from the Visitor Center. Cost per person: $25.00 USD

Petra Kitchen is an excellent neighborhood project. Working with a group of locals to prepare ingredients, cook supper, and then enjoy it all together will give you a firsthand look at Jordanian culture.
Cost per person: $50.00 USD

Day 05: Wadi Rum Petra

Transfer to Wadi Rum Desert after breakfast; the drive takes about one and a half hours. It is a magnificent and timeless location that has remained mostly unaffected by humankind and its destructive powers. Here, the imposing, tall structures that T.E. Lawrence so beautifully described as “vast, echoing, and God-like” were sculpted by the weather and winds.

In major motion pictures that were partially filmed on Mars, it has also been referred to as the planet’s surface: Prometheus, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Red Planet, The Martian, and The Last Days in Mars. Savor a two-hour 4×4 Bedouin Jeep tour to discover Wadi Rum’s most picturesque locations. You will be treated to a traditional supper called Zarb (meat and vegetables cooked in a subterranean oven) at your camp in Wadi Rum after the trip. Additionally, you can take pleasure in relaxing by the fire while hearing traditional Bedouin tales that have been passed down through the ages. Wadi Rum for dinner and the night

*Optional activities in Wadi Rum

A one-hour camel ride costs $28.00 per person.

A one-hour horseback ride costs $40.00 per person.

You can also participate in their daily activities, which include preparing bread, milking goats, and brewing Arabian coffee. Talking and sharing stories. The trip takes about three to four hours.

Each Jeep costs USD 170.00 (maximum 6 passengers).

Day 06: Dead Sea: Wadi Rum

After breakfast, drive to the Dead Sea, which is 400 meters below sea level and one of the lowest places on Earth (about 4 hours and 15 minutes). Discover the distinct feeling of floating in waters that are rich in minerals and, most definitely, the Mud Mask from the Dead Sea’s bottom. Spend the night at the Dead Sea.

Day 07: Wadi Mujib, Dead Sea, Dead Sea

After breakfast, head to Wadi Mujib, which is about a 25-minute drive away. There, you can experience the “Siq Trail,” one of the most well-liked wet paths, which is open from April 1 to October 31. The Adventures Center beside the Mujib Bridge is the starting point for the trail. From there, you can take the cantilevered walkway across the dam and follow the river between the tall sandstone cliffs to the base of a sizable waterfall. There might be swimming pools in the gorge, depending on the seasonal rainfall levels. Particularly during the summer heat, this is a great place to stroll leisurely and take in the cool water and shade. You will then head back to your hotel near the Dead Sea. The afternoon is free. Spend the night at the Dead Sea.
